I'm happily married, living in upstate NY. I have five Grandchildren. God has been good to me; preserving me through Viet-nam in the Marine Corp.and giving me a loving wife and two beautiful children.Looking forward to retirement and playing my clawhammer banjo on my deck at sunset. Write if you like, my best to you all....Jan

I am back at Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College and very much continue to be engaged in my research and work with colleagues on ending gender-based violence. I am now also professor emerita of criminal justice  & criminology in UMass system (though basically retired from that post except for a couple dissertations awaiting completion).

Since 2007 I have learned--- Life is too short to spend it with people who are unkind or who don't care about others!!!

I live with my husband in NH and MA as we take some slow steps toward the next stages and make plans for where to settle down when I retire -- (hint-- I won't retire! Well not in one place that is for sure and not as long as I can read and write and advocate.) I am lucky that I very much enjoy my work. Hopefully we will retain some good options as life goes on but need to remember: "These are the good old days!" as Deb always says....  I do love to travel and we have a few places left on the "bucket list." We love fly fishing and moose watching and never give up finding ways to spend time in the Tetons and fight for the protection of the parks and the animals there.  I have two step daughters -- one in UK builds wooden boats (and does carpentry to pay the bills) and the other is a lawyer who is now an artist/ advocate. The saddness and sorrow of watching parents age (and two mothers die) has taken up much of the time since our last reunion. But life is fun, though aging is not!
