Now Enrolled Agent Tax Prep / Retired Married 2 2016-01-02 22:38:03

I retired from BASF July 1, 2008 after 27 years.  Denise and I have relocated back to Brownstown, Michigan from Summerville, SC to be closer to our girls.  I have been doing seasonal work for H&R Block for the past 5 years - but I may have full retirement in my sights.  Denise and I attended the 35TH and 40TH reunion but missed the 45TH.  We are planning on attending the Duke golf outing next September (2016) in Myrtle Beach and the
50TH reunion in 2017.  Hope to see everyone there.

May 01, 1949 Writer; Retired Community College Teacher Single Again Pascack Valley 2017-03-19 19:09:14
I've weathered life's many ups and downs and am well living in Woodstock, NY.  Spend my time writing, reading, enjoying the woods, exercising with others, swimming.  I finished college at SUNY Albany and have spent most of my adulthood in upstate New York.  I've had two long term partnerships.
I was a member of Full Circle, a Feminist Performing Arts Collective which toured the Northeast in the late 1970's.  Other theatrical credits include JAIL CRIES which I performed (also authored) at the Royal Court Repertory Theatre in NYC and many colleges and prisons;  FOOTPRINTS a play about women in history in the Albany, NY area sponsored by the Bicentennial Commission; ON A WAGON BOUND FOR MARKET performed at the National Women's Association Conference in Boston; and the END GRAND JURY ABUSE OPERA.
Pre-2000 I've published articles, poems, and short stories in magazines, anthologies and newspapers.  Currently, I'm writing essays for local newspapers no longer having time for fiction to make my statements for me.
As a life long activist, I've worked with this, that, and the other peace and anti-poverty organizations, NOW-NYS, The Lesbian Visibility Project.  I coordinated The Women's Educational Center in Cambridge, MA and worked on SOJOURNER, The Women's Forum.
I wish everyone well and hope to hear from old friends.

Nadia Szewczuk (Flisikowski) Nursing consultant and resident care investigator for Long-term facilities, NY state Dept. of Health Married 2 PV 2017-10-03 13:19:50
Have lived in Orange County since 1971 on what used to be my grandparent's onion farm!  No, we don't  raise onions.  Just raised two children; Karen who is 37 and, at the moment, lives in London, and Joe, 31, whom we are trying to push out of the nest.  Looking forward to seeing everyone and maybe feeling 18 again.  At least for a little while.

Have now retired, as of 8/23/17, from the NYS Dept. of Health Nursing Home Program,  as a Nurse Surveyor.  I was part of a team that surveyed, or inspected, nursing homes to ensure they were in compliance with state and federal regulations.  It hasn't quite sunk in yet and I find myself looking at wanted ads.
Old nurses wind up having some mobility issues and I wasn't an exception.  The knees have had it.
My husband, Robert, is still working as the Pharmacy Director in a local hospital.
We still live in the house that my grandparents built in Pine Island, town of Warwick, NY.
Our children, Karen and Joe are still single, so, no grandchildren.
Didn't plan on going to the reunion but Carol Marcellari Coffey wouldn't let it go.  So, planning on going to the picnic on Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing everyone...just don't mind the cane, please...

The time and distance between where I am now and Pascack Hills is a wonderment.

Currently, I'm in Sacramento, CA.  I retired from work at a state agency in Nov 2010.  My wife continues to work for a while longer.  My wife and I enjoy traveling - I particularly love going to Asia.  The picture is in Sikkim in Dec. 07.

I don't get back to the East Coast very often.  I exchange notes with Linda Hough occasionally but that's about it for class contact.  I enjoy reading the comments on this site and finding out where people have gone and what they've become.

I have retired from teaching, after 30 + years, and have sold our home in NJ. We now reside in Tequesta Florida.  John was also a teacher, and for many years after retiring, lived his dream of being a charter boat fishing captain in MA.   My son Thomas, graduated from The Citadel and is a Lt  Col in the US Army.  He is in the Medical Service Corps Branch and is presently stationed in DC.  He is married and has twin boys.  That makes me a grandmother!!!!

I'm so happy that there's going to be a 40th reunion - looking forward to seeing old friends again.  I've been living in northern Connecticut for 38 years, and summering in the New Hampshire lakes region for three years.  We drive through Montvale on the Parkway often on my way to visit my mother, who's in a senior community in Manchester Township.  See you all in October!
