Since 1989 PV Classmate Bob “Bear” Myers and his wife Ana have helped to spearhead “Happiness is Camping” – an organization dedicated to helping children whom are, so sadly, afflicted with cancer. Having sponsored a great golf outing this past summer to help in their/our fight against this terrible disease, their work on this behalf continues. August 2009 to present – Valley Classmate – and our 2007 Reunion Chairman, Arthur “Big Art” Imerito, fought valiantly against Diabetes for over 35 years – a disease that has afflicted others in our Class as well (it cost the life of the departed and also-loved Valley Classmate and Varsity Wrestling Star, Urs Vollenweider). In his Will, Art has requested donations for this most worthwhile cause be made in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation http://www.kidney.org/support
