I just wanted to say hi to everyone (some people my own age!).  There have been some rough bumps but I (and we) are still here.  I dont want to scrounge around for a "then" photo right now but the "now" photo is me with my cat Puma.

After high school I went to college at Michigan Technological University and graduated in 1971 with a BS in Applied Physics and on graduation was also commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers.  I spent 7 years on active duty and was stationed in Panama, Ft. Devens, MA and Ft. Belvoir, VA.  While at Ft. Devens I met and married my wife, Dianne, in 1975.  Our first daughter, Heather, was born while we were at Ft. Belvoir in 1977.

In 1978 I resigned my commission and went to work for Ford Motor Company in Dearborn MI as a light truck development engineer.  Our second daughter, Beth was born in 1980 and our third daughter Paige in 1983.

In 1987 we moved to Virginia and over the next 6 years I worked for two different automotive companies.  In 1992 I was laid off for 5 months and ended up getting a job with the Federal Government.  For the next 23 years until I retired in 2016 I worked for a very small agency with a total staff of 23 that now is known as the AbilityOne Commission, with my last position being the Director of Compliance.  The agency works with nonprofit agencies that employ people who are blind or significantly disabled to provide products and services to the Federal Government.

In 1987 I joined the Army Reserve and eventually retired as a Major in 2006.  During the last 6 years I was a member of the Corps of Engineers Contingency Response Unit.  A month after 9/11 the unit was called to active duty and dispersed to different Corps offices around the world.  I spent a year on active duty working at the office responsible for construction in the Centcom area, at CENTCOM HQ and two months sitting in the desert in Pakistan.

Our oldest daughter Heather is a Registered nurse, our middle daugher Beth is a Veterinarian and is married with two boys.  Our youngest daughter Paige is an elementary school teacher.

We are in the process of moving to the Charleston, SC area so that both Dianne and I can take care of our grandsons, Landon and Benjamin who are now 3 and 1.

I am looking forward to our 50th Reunion. I have not connected with classmates in 50 years. So, this will be an adventure. I already need forgiveness for not remembering names or experiences we've shared. I consider it early onset of dementia, however, it could be selective memory. In either case I hope to be reminded of great times and experineces we shared 50 years ago.
I left Hillsdale in 1967 went to college in the hills of Kentucky and came home only occasionaly when I had long breaks. I worked two or three jobs to make money to go back to college so social time was limited. My moved to Florida in 1970 after Ross graduated from PV and so we were displced so to speak. Off to seminary in 1971, met a wonderful woman to whom I have been married for 43 years. We have two wonderful children and almost three grandchildren.
Our daughter Catherine works for Octagon a sports marketing firm, and our son works for Samsung as a district sales manager. Jeff has two boys, Liam and Cooper, with Adeline due in March of 2017. We could not be more blessed.
I split my career between pastoring local congregations in the United Methodist Church and serving as a chaplain in a major medical center. My wife Carol spent her career as a Registered Nurser. We retired in 2013 after serving 40 years in the United Methodist system.
See you all in October.
God Bless
Bill

I graduated in 1971 from Syracuse University & SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Syracuse, NY. I was married during my junior year in 1970.

Our two sons have very successful careers, one working for GoodYear & the other for the U. S. Patent & Trademark Office.  We have three grandchildren in Ohio.

After being employed by G. A. Braun, Inc. in Syracuse, NY for 34+ years I took a job at Reliable Equipment & Engineering, Inc. in Ogden, Utah in January 2008.  We were living in Cedar Hills, which was closer to my wife Lydia's job in Provo, Utah.

At the end of 2015 I retired & relocated to Canfield, Ohio.  I am now working part time for XPO Logistics Freight Inc. in Lordstown, Ohio.

I live in Southern CA, and p/t in San Francisco, but my husband David Taussig
& I travel as much as we can.
I'm in NC/NJ at least once a year. I'm retired now, but still helping a couple of local nonprofits with fundraising. We currently have one grown daughter at each of our CA locations, and two marmalade cats whom we spoil. I enjoy reconnecting with old friends, and sometimes old acquaintances become new friends.
