I finally retired from a Washington law firm and took a new job with an IT company headquartered in Bangalore, India. Much much more fun. My kids are long grown -- one a homemaker in Virginia, the other a food and wine writer in New Mexico. I left the big city about a year ago and have been renovating an old adobe house. Seemed like a good idea at the time! Anyway, I can't wait to see you all. |

Although not officially a '67 graduate (my parents moved middle of senior year) I attended Rivervale & Montvale schools since the 1st grade at Holdrum School. It is great catching up with so many people. I've enjoyed reading this site and have smiled, laughed and cried with the news of my classmates. |

I've been living in northern Connecticut for 38 years, and summering in the New Hampshire lakes region for three years. | Comment: First, thanks to those who set up and maintain website and are organizing the reunion. So, its been a long time - I won't make reunion but here are the basics. Went to Dickinson College where I met and married Carolyn almost 47 years ago. We have two daughters and five grandchildren, and are fortunate that both families live nearby. We're in Reston, VA, outside Washington, DC - have been in DC area since college with exception of a year in Boston for graduate school and five years in Minnesota for work. I stumbled, with no training, into a very satisfying career in health policy - about a third in a couple stints in/out of the executive and legislative branches of the federal government, a third in consulting and a third in several private, non-profit entities. We're mostly retired now - a little consulting but mostly volunteer work, seeing family and friends, spoiling grandkids and travel. | |

Have lived in Orange County since 1971 on what used to be my grandparent's onion farm! No, we don't raise onions. Just raised two children; Karen who is 37 and, at the moment, lives in London, and Joe, 31, whom we are trying to push out of the nest. Looking forward to seeing everyone and maybe feeling 18 again. At least for a little while. Have now retired, as of 8/23/17, from the NYS Dept. of Health Nursing Home Program, as a Nurse Surveyor. I was part of a team that surveyed, or inspected, nursing homes to ensure they were in compliance with state and federal regulations. It hasn't quite sunk in yet and I find myself looking at wanted ads. Old nurses wind up having some mobility issues and I wasn't an exception. The knees have had it. My husband, Robert, is still working as the Pharmacy Director in a local hospital. We still live in the house that my grandparents built in Pine Island, town of Warwick, NY. Our children, Karen and Joe are still single, so, no grandchildren. Didn't plan on going to the reunion but Carol Marcellari Coffey wouldn't let it go. So, planning on going to the picnic on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everyone...just don't mind the cane, please... |
