Comment: I've always valued and appreciated my PVHS education and friendships, and often find myself reflectin' upon the times I spent learning while socializing in the classrooms of Chiariello, Linton, Albini, Falk, the Faith Sweetser, Kiley, Kuenaphel, Jordan, Capasso, Sulyma, Good Old Robert Leonard, who loved Mickey Mantle almost as much as KLAK and me, and the man who taught me how to write in any and whatever style or format, while reminding us all to "Neither a borrower nor a lender be," the late, great, English teacher extraordinaire, Alfred LaPaglia.





It must have been an omen that in each of my three years of PV lunch, it was always period 6 for me.  Sometimes they ran out of that choice piece of 15 cent cake, to top off that 35 cent full course hot lunch, but at least there were only two periods in the day to go.    Now ironically it is me who watches students socialize in a Bergen County high school cafeteria setting during a period 6, and I realize that us PV'67 kids really knew how to have an exciting lunch period without an iPod or cellphone to our ears.   I like to think that I've taken and pieced together the best from the values and attitudes of the all the aforementioned PVHS Hall of Fame teachers, and that so much which they taught us is still alive in my classroom some 45 or so years later. 


 


I've been divorced for over ten years now, but the fruits of a marriage gone sour are personified in the lives of my son, a pediatric oncologist at LIJ, and my daughter, all 6 feet of her, who has followed her Dad down the path of education, as a physical education teacher. 





The "THEN" photo was actually taken some 43 summers post 1967.  The "NOW" shot is me still goin' to proms in May 2009.

Comment: I have had a very full life.  


Divorced a number of times.  Have 2 amazing daughters and 2 awesome grandkids with another on the way in June.  I have lived in Chicago, Colorado, Michigan and now back in Chicago.  


I am very active, I am  a World Champion Body Surfer and a member of the River Vale team and winners on the Pisarri Cup.  I am one of only 3 original Duke attendees never missing a Duke event.


I ride my horse, ski, work out, scuba, windsurf and many other activites.  


I'm still extremely handsome.

Comment: I am divorced, and have been living in Connecticut for 31 years. I have 3 children, Kenneth Jr, Kristy, and Brian. I still get down to NJ frequently to visit my Kids.


I have two grandchildren. Kylie Anabelle Zagula, and Brielle Zagula. 


I am still working as a lighting designer, but plan to retire soon.

Comment:  I want to thank all of you alumni who have worked so hard to put us all back in contact with each other.  It is fun to see what we have done when we have all grown up.

Comment: Living in Athens, GA for 18 years and working at UGA for the last six.  Still writing when I have time, but UGA keeps me busy.  Finally have a new book out-- Bitter Tide-- written under the pen name Ann Stamos. My husband, Takis, and I have two daughters, a grandson and a granddaughter.  Didn't make the last reunion, but hope we'll make the next.

Comment: Lives in Oradell NJ for the past 37 years.  Widowed in 2012.  Have 2 children.  Son, Matthew Finger and  daughter, Leigh Anne Kaufmann.   Two grandchildren Ryan Finger (10) and Meredith Finger (8).  


Have worked for the Westwood Board of Education for the past 25 years.  Hoping to retire in the year or two.
