Marital status: Divorced
Occupation: BUYER
Comment:

Hey everyone.  I wish I had known this website existed a few years ago.  Great way to get back in touch.  I've lived in South Carolina since 1974 and really enjoy the pace of life here.  I work as a buyer for a specialty gas company and would like to retire soon, but I like to eat too much.  Just recentldy returned from a trip to Italy which was amazing.  Hope everyone is well and happy and I look forward to seeing all of you soon.

Sharon Stonekey aka Stonkey

Marital status: Single again
Occupation: Writer; Retired Community College Teacher
Comment:       I've weathered life's many ups and downs and am well living in Woodstock, NY.  Spend my time writing, reading, enjoying the woods, exercising with others, swimming.  I finished college at SUNY Albany and have spent most of my adulthood in upstate New York.  I've had two long term partnerships.

I was a member of Full Circle, a Feminist Performing Arts Collective which toured the Northeast in the late 1970's.  Other theatrical credits include JAIL CRIES which I performed (also authored) at the Royal Court Repertory Theatre in NYC and many colleges and prisons;  FOOTPRINTS a play about women in history in the Albany, NY area sponsored by the Bicentennial Commission; ON A WAGON BOUND FOR MARKET performed at the National Women's Association Conference in Boston; and the END GRAND JURY ABUSE OPERA.

Pre-2000 I've published articles, poems, and short stories in magazines, anthologies and newspapers.  Currently, I'm writing essays for local newspapers no longer having time for fiction to make my statements for me.

As a life long activist, I've worked with this, that, and the other peace and anti-poverty organizations, NOW-NYS, The Lesbian Visibility Project.  I coordinated The Women's Educational Center in Cambridge, MA and worked on SOJOURNER, The Women's Forum.

I wish everyone well and hope to hear from old friends.

The time and distance between where I am now and Pascack Hills is a wonderment.

Currently, I'm in Sacramento, CA.  I retired from work at a state agency in Nov 2010.  My wife continues to work for a while longer.  My wife and I enjoy traveling - I particularly love going to Asia.  The picture is in Sikkim in Dec. 07.

I don't get back to the East Coast very often.  I exchange notes with Linda Hough occasionally but that's about it for class contact.  I enjoy reading the comments on this site and finding out where people have gone and what they've become.

Linda Williams

Children: 2
Occupation: Senior Research Scientist
Comment: I work at Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College and very much continue to be engaged in my research and am now writing a book on violence against women.  I am also professor emerita of criminal justice  & criminology in UMass system.

Life is too short to spend it with people who are unkind or who don't care about others!!!

I live with my husband in MA as we take some slow steps toward the next stages and make plans for our next adventures. Trying to retain some good options as life goes on and also need to remember: "These are the good old days!" as Deb always says....  we do love to travel but recent years have made that more of a challenge.

I have two step daughters -- one in UK builds wooden boats (and does carpentry to pay the bills) and the other is a lawyer who is now an artist/ advocate.

So as my dad always said, "We are here for a good time, not for a long time."
